Juja is a developing town located off the Thika Superhighway. It serves as host to JKUAT university and is consequently dominated by a young population. The residents are friendly, rent is fairly priced and the weather is warm. Anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Nairobi city should consider Juja town.

Juja is in Kiambu county. It hosts one of the major renowned universities in Kenya that is Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology providing a platform for higher education in the country. Juja is served by a reasonably well-maintained tarmac road network connecting it to Nairobi, Thika and other surrounding towns. Close to the town are several privately owned farms that provide food and income for the local residents.
