It is easy to get around via car or public transit, and there is plenty to see. You can walk the monuments, take in any number of museums, or see concert.

Washington, DC is the capital of the United States. Many people travel to this city to visit the museums and monuments. People also travel to this city to see the White House and visit Arlington Cemetery. Additionally, the city hosts three major league sports teams. These teams are the Washington Wizards, the Washington Nationals, and the Washington Capitals.

When moving to DC one should consider the opportunity to meet lots of people from various backgrounds and the chance to visit many historical and intriguing sites. One should also consider the decision to own a car or use public transportation which is readily available throughout the area including surrounding cities in Maryland and Virginia.

Someone moving to DC should expect high rent prices. However, minimum wage is above the national average to compensate for this. Additionally, there are many cultural sites to visit such as the monuments and Smithsonian museums. Public transit is readily available and is affordable. The weather is also nice in spring.
