St. Albans is a city built on the site of Roman Verulamium. It is located to the north of London and is surrounded by green fields. There is a busy street market twice a week which attracts visitors from across the county. St. Albans is also home to a Roman amphitheatre, a hypocaust and remnants of the city wall. Other points of interest include an imposing cathedral which overlooks a beautiful park.

The city is busy and has many wonderful tourist attractions. It also has many historical features which are good to visit with children. St Albans has a good variety of shops that are easily accessible. You can also use public transport and toilets. There is a busy high street and a farmers market on Sundays.

St Albans is a fabulous historical city. The Romans founded one of their most important centres here; Boudicca sacked it and razed it to the ground. And 100s of years later there are so many remnants of that past to explore. If you love a city steeped in history then come and explore.
