Kollam has earned its fame for tasty cuisine, especially for fish dishes. Visiting Kollam would be an unforgettable experience for any traveler.

Kollam is one of the beautiful districts in Kerala state. Kollam is famous for its backwaters and tourist destinations. We can see some pilgrim centres and ancient temples in kollam. My district also has a larger coastal area. Thirumullavaram beach, Azheekal beach, Kollam beach are our nearest beaches. Thankasseri, a place of high significance, houses several old churches said to have been established in the 1700s.

Nearby, Ashtamudi Lake is a gateway to the Kerala backwaters, a network of waterways rich with vegetation. The striped 1902 Tangasseri Lighthouse has ocean views.
