Centuries ago, King’s Lynn was one of the busiest and most important ports in England. Today, the town still has old cobbled streets and historic buildings, like merchant’s houses and monuments. I suggest visiting the Red Mound Chapel in the Walks park. The Walks is a lovely green space in the middle of the town.

People should know King’s Lynn is a town steeped in history. It was hugely important as a port in Medieval Britain and remains associated with royalty today. The architecture is amazing, and the locals are friendly and welcoming. This is a small but thriving market town, and I recommend that everyone should visit.

Kings Lynn may be seen as a quiet and quaint town to tourists, but for those who reside here like myself, it is full of life. There are no commercialised shopping malls, but instead, we have a town centre full of both household named shops and independent brands. This combination attracts the locals who become loyal customers and show a consistent, friendly face around the town both in and out of shops. In addition to the retail aspect, it is important to consider the scenic aspect of the town. There is no denying the beautiful sights when venturing into the countryside. Both Kings Lynn and surrounding, small towns can provide these views that never get old as they draw in not only the tourists, but the locals too.
