The weather is very warm especially in the summer. There are a lot of historical places to visit and we have very good food. We have cheap prices; you can afford a lot of stuff in our city. Our city is full of cute coffee places.

Living in Iasi is quite an eclectic experience as it is not only the cultural capital of Romania but at the same time, a preferred destination for young students from around the world, that want to study medicine or engineering. The most prominent mark of the town is the Palace of Culture, a neo-gothic architectural wonder that was built before the 2nd World War and it is now the centerpiece of the main square. Also, one could indulge in the largest east-European botanical garden or in relax in the numerous parks and promenade streets in town. However, the city is busy and continuously developing, which means frequent traffic jams, higher than average rents, and difficult to find parking spaces. But overall Iasi is a city that never sleeps, with many interesting music and art festivals through the year and with a compelling cultural base that would delight people of all ages.

Packed with students (so bars and nightclubs), cool history related places, big parks and even one of Europe’s biggest salt-water natural oak, Iasi is an unpolished diamond. If you’re looking for a cool job, we have major corporations looking for young talents.

Iasi is in the historical region of Moldavia. The city has been the capital of the region for a couple of decades. Iasi is known for being built over seven hills and because of that is compared to Roma. There are numerous historical buildings all over the city. As for the economy, in Iasi there are a lot of international companies.

There are many students year-round, except for summer of course. There are also many beautiful historical museums and places. You can find only two big malls, but plenty of small boutiques. The city has a very active nightlife, many coffee shops and clubs for partying.
