The City of General Trias is the Sixth District of Cavite. Lead by Mayor Antonio Ferrer, it is First Class in terms of income classification. It has a very good location, in the north of the province. It is bounded by the cities of Noveleta, Imus, Kawit, Dasmariñas, Silang, Amadeo, Tanza, and Rosario. Thus, making transportation accessible. It has a very rich historical background, one of which pertains to its name honoring the hero General Mariano Trias.
