Glendora has a quaint downtown area, containing a main street lined with giant ficus trees and small shops. Known as “the Village” to locals, it draws crowds for holiday parades, special events, and most recently, protests for social justice. However, most of the time, it has a quiet, laidback feel.

Most importantly, the best place for donuts is The Donut Man on Route 66; it’s known for its strawberry donuts. Other good-to-know information: it’s pretty quiet and safe, the public schools are decent, and there is a Metro Gold Line station that can connect you to LA pretty easily. There are many good places to eat though.
