George is a very beautiful city with very friendly and warm people. A very scenic and quiet place with beautiful beaches that is perfect for retirees as well as young surfers that love the ocean. You get the feel of a small town mixed with the infrastructure of bigger cities. I would recommend coming to George to anyone.

George is situated in the heart of the Garden Route and is well known for its scenic beauty. Not only does it have plenty of beaches, but also magnificent forests, ideal for hiking, mountain biking and horse riding. Along with its natural treasures, it is also one of the safest place to live in South Africa. This makes George ideal residential town.

The sunshine are most likely the most important and nice thing about my part of the world and we have a rainbow nation and love to meet new people and cultures. The food and culture in my country are the most important thing to our community, family and friends. We have also a wildlife wilderness.

We have beaches quite nearby and beautiful views of mountain ranges. The people are so friendly and easy to strike up a conversation with. If you are looking for delicious food, then you are in luck, because George has a diverse range of foods and drinks passed down from generation to generation.

George has almost doubled in size since 2014. Sadly this increase in residents has attracted bad elements into the area and the crime rate has also doubled. George has stunning scenery. It is between the majestic Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean. Surfing is a popular water sport and the sea at Vic Bay and Herolds is always filled with surfers.

George is in the Garden Route district of the Western Cape. It is also sometimes referred to as the Garden of Eden. George offers everything from glorious mountains to lush farmlands, malls and shopping centres, farmers markets and cute cafés and restaurants. It is close to spectacular beaches and spots of natural beauty.
