Someone moving here, Elizabethtown, should know there are a lot of ducks. Freeman Lake is not only at the center of our circular town, but it is the center of duck traffic! Luckily, no ducks were harmed when someone dumped a bunch of baby piranhas in the water and left them to mature.

Elizabethtown is in the state of Kentucky. It is in a more rural area of the state in which one can live in a more quiet and peaceful manner. The local high school district has a VEX Robotics team. The local streets are a peaceful setting. The local high school operates a collective environment with a rather friendly demeanor.

Elizabethtown, also called E-town, is a small city that is both easy to navigate and still full of things to do. There are two main highways and one Interstate intersecting in E-town, making travel into, around and of town extremely convenient. The roads, however, are rarely congested and do not detract from the small community feel of the town. From the annual Heartland Festival at Freeman Lake to the relatively new classic car show each summer in the historic downtown square to the everyday enchantment of a stroll in one of the many parks or a shopping trip to any of dozens of local businesses, E-town never leaves one wanting for something to do within easy reach.
