Huddersfield is a historic part of West Yorkshire which is eye catching due to its facilities and location. The splendid views of Emley Moor to the bustle of the town centre to the famous Last Of The Summer Wine scenery in nearby Holmfirth, Huddersfield has lots offer for students and tourists. Its Victorian-age buildings still stand and the university shows the town stepping out of the shadows. The railway station in St George’s Square in the middle of the town was described by Sir John as ‘the most splendid station façade in England’.

Huddersfield is also an amazing place for commuters. The M62 and M1 motorways are really close to Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield. There are plenty of regular trains to London and Scotland. It is also easy to go to the airports at Manchester and Leeds.
