If you’re moving to Flower Mound you will be close to lots of different cities that have great adventures. Flower Mound itself has all the basic stores you would expect. The town is young so not a lot of museums, etc. But we are close to the freeways to Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, Richardson. The schools are TOP! If you have children and want a wonderful sleepy community to raise them this is the town for you. If you are looking for nightlife and adventure, look somewhere else in the Metroplex.

Flower Mound is a small city nestled 25 miles from the big city of Dallas, Texas. Being a small town, it is fast growing for the last five years. This city is a great place especially raising children. There are several schools around, too, that are rated five stars.

Flower Mound is one of the fastest-growing cities in all of Texas. We are located very close to DFW Airport, which has contributed greatly to our growth in recent years. Our city has some of the best schools in the country, with more than ninety percent of our students heading to college after graduation. We are named after a mound in the center of town that is cared for by the community to allow indigenous wildflowers to grow. We also have many hiking trails near Grapevine Lake that are open for enjoyment to all.
