Orlando is a melting pot and has a rich Latin American culture. Orlando, which is affectionately called “The City Beautiful”, is best known for Disney World, Universal Studios and Seaworld. As a result of its many theme park attractions it had over 60 million visitors from all over the world last year. Because its average temperature is 86 degrees it keeps tourists coming to visit all year round. Orlando has over 600 different types of Palm trees and they are situated perfectly around the city creating a very inviting atmosphere.

Someone moving to Orlando should know the hospitality industry and tourism are very important here. Much of the city’s business comes from Disney, Universal, and other local attractions. There is also a lot of ethnic diversity in terms of shops and restaurants. One can purchase goods from a variety of Asian, Indian, Hispanic, and other grocery stores, and trying uncommon foods such as Laotian cuisine.

Orlando is a vibrant community with much more to offer than the large tourist attractions it is famous for. There are historic neighborhoods and towns to explore nearby. Both coasts offer world-famous beaches and involve no more than a 90-minute drive. Freshwater springs are accessible and a great way to cool off in summer. Orlando’s food scene is incredibly diverse and one of the great pleasures of living in the area.

Orlando, in central Florida, receives a great amount of heat. The beach, however, is not too far away. Some beaches are around an hour and 30 minutes away. Apart from the heat, Orlando is an amusing place. Many tourists love visiting the city, and here are located the major amusement parks such as Universal Studios. Orlando has a lively, fun feel to it, and the diverse people are friendly.
