New Delhi is a city of much contrast, since it is the capital of an incredibly diverse country. The rich and poor reside together, but live in different worlds altogether. They interact everyday, but dare not to understand each other. Yet, there exists an unsaid solidarity, where one readily helps another for no reason save for the human impulse driving each one.

New Delhi is a beautiful city with people from all over the country present. Our culture is one of the most fascinating ones from around the world as it is diverse, both in terms of region and religion. My tiny city captures the whole of India within one frame. Monuments like Humayun’s tomb, the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, have shaped our history. However, the reality is that while part of my city lives in prosperous areas with excellent facilities, the rest lives in poverty stricken regions. However, we are united as one. My city is full of cultural hubs like dilli haat, where an array of trinkets from all parts of India are found. A city culturally diverse and historically rich, Delhi is a must visit for everyone.

New Delhi is city of many histories. It is one of the big cities in India, after Mumbai and Kolkata. New Delhi is one of the ancient and historical place which consists of seven historical cities. New Delhi today was once built to be the capital of the British (which was Raisina in 1912). The main places in New Delhi are Connaught Place, Parliament, Secretariats, India Gate, Central Vista and more places. Delhi can be said to be a very busy city that has people of all religions, caste and colors. People in this city live and help each other without any discrimination.
