City undergoing modernization, multicultural, very reasonable public transport, different prices for meals. Safe, without much fuss.

This city has tall buildings, beautiful gardens and delicious restaurants you can smell passing by. One can run outside and get fresh air, and find entertainment in local cafes and bars. It’s a city with an ancient history and a lot to explore. You look into people’s faces and you notice a mix of different cultures and that’s what makes it a great place. It’s diverse and it’s beautiful.

Lisbon is the second oldest preserved city in Europe after Athens (other older cities were rebuilt after war or earthquakes). It is a vibrant and multicultural city, with around 300 days of sun per year. A city not far from the sea, and with natural beauty, as found in park Monsanto, the Tagus River and, also, 30 minutes from the coastline. Popular among surfers as a “commuting point” to either surf spots north or south from the city. Also, very popular is Sintra, and specifically the National Park da Sintra. There we find Palacio da Pena, a colourful palace, with exquisite architecture. we find Quinta da Regaleira and the well Iniciatico, full of mysterious details, and all comprised in the beauty of the landscape.
