Daly City is a suburb of San Francisco so you can easily access the urban environment while still living in the comfort and safety a suburban environment can offer. One thing know before moving here, however, is that the weather is usually overcast. If you are a person whose mood is easily affected by weather then you may want to consider a sunnier city or investing in Vitamin-D supplements and warmer clothing.

Above all, the cost of living in Daly City should be of paramount consideration when planning to relocate. The proximity of Daly City to both Silicon Valley and San Francisco places it in the most expensive county in the country. A disproportionate amount of most residents salaries is spent on rent and the basic needs of daily life.

If you move to Daly City, CA, you’ll meet a lot of Filipinos. The city’s population is roughly 30 percent Filipinos. But do not worry, there is plenty of variety when it comes to food here. Daly City also borders Colma, CA, which has a population comprised of more dead than living because of its numerous cemeteries.
