When moving to Brownsville, Texas, one must consider the great change of pace in day-to-day living they may experience. Compared to larger, bustling cities such as Houston or Dallas, one can expect a much more relaxed experience. In addition to this, one can also expect a much more affordable cost of living compared to those of larger cities. The selling point of Brownsville, however, is the fact that despite its smaller size and general affordability, all of the amenities one might need are close at hand. Hospitals, grocery stores, and even an accredited university are only minutes from wherever you might be within the city.

Boca Chica Beach in Brownsville is the current site of SpaceX, which is owned by Elon Musk. This city is about two minutes from Mexico and about 30 minutes from South Padre Island. We have one football stadium named Sam’s Memorial, where high schools play their sports.

Brownsville does not tend to attract much outside attention but it is a great one nonetheless. Although relatively small and in a remote part of the country, there are still several beautiful places throughout. There is a perfect blend between American and Hispanic culture that to me, makes it one of the best cities in the entire United States.
