Indianapolis is nondescript to those who don’t know it, but is surprisingly charming when one looks closer. Indianapolis is filled with pockets of art and culture, and food from almost every corner of the globe can be found. It fuses the opportunities of a big city with the charm of a small town. Best of all, Midwest hospitality permeates the very bones of the city.

Indianapolis is a hidden gem! If you’re looking for an approachable and affordable city, Indy is the place. With miles of downtown biking trails, unique restaurants, and a hip art scene, Indianapolis has a little bit of something for everyone. Take a romantic stroll on the canal, catch a Colts game, or experience the famous Indy 500 race weekend.

Indianapolis is a beautiful and overlooked city in the heart of Indiana. With a rich history, multiple National parks, and many locally-owned businesses, “Indy” (as the natives call it) is a city with something for everyone. Whether you prefer a bustling metropolitan setting or a laid-back suburban environment, this city has living accommodations at comfortably low costs compared to other major cities in the US. Indianapolis has a thriving local arts scene, three major universities, and many thriving organizations offering a variety of career opportunities in any field one can imagine.

Indianapolis is the capital of the US state of Indiana. On a map, it appears to lie almost exactly geographically centered between north and south, and east and west. This makes all other locations within the state easy enough to get to, with a drive of no more than about two and one-half hours. I like that about the location because I frequently meet clients in other Indiana cities and towns. Indianapolis is also a more modern city in the last 30 years than at any time before, having a revived downtown (which was once a social hub, then declined for many years) and an enriched reputation for sports, and the arts. The city is governed as part of a unified city-county system, having a City Council that works very closely with the mayor. Indianapolis is called “The Crossroads of America” because major Interstates 65, 69, 70, and 74 crisscross the city, along with multiple US and state highways. From this Indiana hub, one can go in any of the major geographic directions and reach almost any destination.
