Someone moving to this city should know it is in northeast Ohio. It is the county seat for Summit county. The closest airport is the Akron-Canton Municipal airport. The main interstate freeways accessible to the city are I-76 and I-77. This city is often included in the Cleveland metro area.

Akron, OH, is city on the rise. The people who make up the diverse communities here care about investing in the future, which is evident through their participation in projects they may never see any personal benefit from. I know several individuals who came to Akron merely to attend college, then decided to not only live here, but begin businesses of their own. I’m happy to see some objective examples that others are fond of my hometown too, and know that my love for Akron doesn’t come from pure feelings of loyalty or nostalgia alone.

It is the birthplace of Lebron James. There are plenty of activities in the downtown. The restaurants and bars are cautiously open for casual activity. There are plenty of other shops, stores, and convenience centers to help you with anything else you might need. Akron is located south of Cleveland and is right off a major highway.

Akron, Ohio, is a midwestern, mid-major city. You can experience an urbane dinner date, either downtown, or out towards the suburbs. You can attend sporting events, concerts, and other events of all types and tastes, throughout the year. The weather is a true mix of all four seasons, sometimes all within the same day.
