New Delhi is the capital of India. It is also a city of great historical importance and cultural wealth. People of various religious and ethnic identities live here. Although it is one of the most developed Indian cities to live in, we have seen air pollution levels rising in recent years, especially during winter. that should be a point to keep in mind (especially for people facing respiratory issues) before considering moving to New Delhi.

The populous city of New Delhi is infamously known for its smog and extreme counts of pollution. Visitors to this medieval city, must ensure that they carry face coverings at all times, so that they don’t end up suffering from bouts of asthma. sans the negative factors, they are guaranteed to experience the time of their life and take back home a little piece of New Delhi with them.

New Delhi is a nice place to reside, but be aware of the air pollution for which it is known all over the country. It is not advisable if you already have a breathing problem. Also, as it is a very crowded area, do not expect to get a large place as the area is quite limited. However, it has some plus points too as there are many tourist places so that you never get bored sitting at your home.

New Delhi ranks very low in terms of air pollution so do carry along a mask with dirt filter. Delhi is a place full of beauty, famous for the Mughal Gardens, India Gate, Red Fort among others spread over kilometers of land. Prefer metro instead of buses. The museums are a must visit giving an insight of the rich cultural heritage of India such as Doll Museum, Train Museum, National Museum and a lot more. The food gets a lot more interesting as you can find a blend of thousands of cuisines here, avoid street food as it is very low in hygiene. The National Zoo and the sprawling markets like Sarojini Nagar, Palika Bazar and Karol Bagh are a must visit.
